Would never have guessed what it is, were it not for the title, but it's an intriguing shot which makes for an interesting abstract (looks a little like a space blanket).
I was thinking from your 1st day that you were going to shoot very straight forward but I see you are channeling your inner abstract and I am really liking your images. I don't believe I have ever seen metal tape so this is very intriguing to me. I keep blowing it up and examining it =)
The tape is only above the line. Below the line is a white surface reflecting the tape.
Metal tape is pretty cool, LM. It's on a roll with a peel-off backing. Sort of like sticky aluminum foil, but thicker. You use it for taping ducts, since ducts are about the only thing you can't tape with duct tape. ;)
